THE SUIT THERAPY PROGRAM

These therapy suits were first used on children with neuromuscular disorders in the 1990s and registered with the FDA in 2002. Oxford Suit Therapy program is an intensive therapy combining with individualized intensive strength training program for children to combat the effects of deconditioning & immobilization by training the disabled child’s body like that of a non-disabled child.

PROGRAM EVALUATION

Patients of any age can benefit from our intensive therapy program. Before therapy can begin, an evaluation is done to determine the program the therapist will follow. The observations made during the evaluation will help the therapist and patient make goals to reach. The key element to our program is an individualized strengthening program established for each patient based on his or her individual needs, strengths, and weaknesses.
